These are the 4 health stats you need to know to predict your future health

Updated: Apr 6, 2022

As a 20 year health and wellness pro, I am all about being proactive when it comes to your health, wellness, and fitness.

This goes far beyond “not getting sick” – but having the energy and vitality to ENJOY life and LIVING every day to its fullest.

The problem is, it’s tempting to procrastinate about your health and wellness when you’re feeling good. Or even when you’re “not feeling bad.” (I know my autoimmune and chronic illness folks feel me on this…there is a difference.)

We end up waiting until we have a problem … or think because we were fine at our last checkup (two, five, ten years ago), we’re in the clear.

But there are a ton of factors that go into your health and wellness.

Today, I am challenging you to get a snapshot of your health ASAP.

Do you know your numbers?

  • Blood pressure

  • Blood sugar (not just glucose, but your A1C…read my article here, for the difference)

  • Cholesterol (Total, triglycerides, VLDL, LDL, and HDL)

  • Thyroid

  • Any other health markers you or your healthcare provider think are meaningful.

That last group may include disease-specific tests for health conditions that run in your family or your autoimmune disease.

This is super important because:

  • Those numbers help pinpoint brewing health issues related to some of the most common (& deadly) diseases: heart disease, high blood pressure, stroke, type 2 diabetes, autoimmune diseases, and obesity, among others.

  • These diseases often go hand-in-hand with lifestyle factors that you can control.

Do yourself a HUGE favor and schedule your health snapshot today - AKA your annual physical.

It’s easier (and less expensive) if you act now while a condition still has the potential for reversal before becoming permanent.

Pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes are two of the most common preventable health conditions. And they’re one of the many conditions that I help clients with…from increasing activity, to lifestyle changes, and even helping lower their A1C to levels allowing the full discontinuation of medications.

Pat, a long time client who actually came to me for his chronic neck pain and weakness, was able to stop taking taking hid type 2 diabetes medication with a 40 pound weight loss:

“Following neck surgery, I was having difficulty regaining my strength. Margreta immediately went to work focusing on rebuilding my strength along with improving my balance & flexibility. The results have been absolutely amazing! With Margreta's guidance, I am in better condition than I've been in years. Oh, and along the way, I also lost 40 pounds.
Margreta is knowledgeable, attentive, patient with a great sense of humor & a top-notch motivator. Working with Margreta is truly a pleasure for me.” — Pat G. (Maryland)
